The Logos Network is a next-generation crypto network that provides hyper-scalable transaction infrastructure, from micro-transactions to large scale B2B transfers. Its innovative structure overcomes the limitations of the legacy blockchain paradigm and empowers intelligent transfers of value globally. Logos will fundamentally transform what is possible in financial applications, from IoT networks to point-of-sale technology.
Logos's innovative architecture unlocks a new level of capacity.
An efficient, post-blockchain data architecture built to accommodate the Internet of tomorrow.
The chain mesh consists of independent transaction chains for each account that form mesh-like structure through transfers. This allows for parallel processing of independent transactions, a large improvement over the serial blockchain.
Axios is a novel, delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus protocol that ensures optimal throughput while guaranteeing safety.
Specialized, elected validators come to agreement using algorithms with decades of theoretical support. Logos's economic incentive structure is carefully designed to ensure it is a Nash solution, meaning it is provably fair and validators are held accountable for their actions.
Logos's Polis sharding scheme adds a second dimension of parallelism to transaction validation.
The network's unique structure allows it to randomly divide the network into disjoint groups, each of which independently validates requests in parallel while maintaining security. This is a huge improvement over conventional networks that require a majority of validators to approve each transaction.
The future of money is digital, as seen in the huge growth of peer-to-peer payments, the massive potential of Internet of Things networks, and the revolutionary leaps in decentralized technology. The payment interfaces of today, including both centralized solutions and blockchain networks, are unable to meet these demands due to cumbersome overhead and limited scalability. Unbounded scalability is at the heart of Logos's design.Read More
Logos rethinks the crypto paradigm from the ground up.
We are mathematicians, economists, statisticians, and computer scientists by training. We apply this same theoretical rigor in developing Logos.
We leverage the best elements of existing crypto networks in conjunction with decades of distributed algorithms research to build the optimal system.
No single network can provide unbounded scalability and arbitrarily complex functionality. Instead, Logos focuses on providing the premier transaction infrastructure.
A technical overview of Logos's architecture and design choices. Intended for advanced audiences.
A 'plain English' introduction to technology underlying Logos. Intended for people who want to peek under the hood.
An exploration of cryptocurrency use cases and valuation methodologies. Developed by our academic partners.
Logos is developed by Promethean Labs,
whose world-class team leverages diverse experience across finance, tech, and academia to gain novel insights into crypto technology.
Founder & CEO
Michael has been captivated by DLT technology and crypto investing since 2013. Before creating Logos, Michael worked at Ellington Management Group, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund, on quantitative strategy portfolio management. Michael completed a joint B.A. in Statistics and M.S. in Applied Mathematics in 4 years from Harvard University, where he was a multi-year John Harvard Scholar.
Head of Engineering
Carl has a decade of software and system engineering experience at NASA JPL and Northrop Grumman, where he worked on safety critical software for autonomous flight systems. He most recently worked on the core flight software which flies the NASA Europa Clipper Mission and has led large teams in full life cycle software development. Carl received an M.S. in Systems Engineering from UCLA.
Head of Finance & Operations
A startup executive for the past 20 years, Doug has launched and operated companies across sectors to include Digital Media, Cloud Computing, CyberSecurity, and Gaming. Prior to his startup efforts, Doug was an investment banker at Bank of America and a marketing rep at IBM.
